Welcome to the Sister Mireille Foundation. This foundation is dedicated to Dr. Mireille Michel Simon and will serve as a continued legacy of love to support Dr. Mireille's multiple charitable projects worldwide.
Purpose
In 2002, Dr. Mireille started her humanitarian projects and work through the combined efforts of herself and her ministry. The Sister Mireille Foundation was created after her recent passing to impact communities worldwide through charitable work in underserved communities positively. What has become a foundation has tremendously grown and produced housing, schooling, and places of worship in third-world countries such as Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, the Bahamas, and other countries worldwide. The core of our work lies in the continuous passion and dedication we bring to the range of projects we participate in. What We Do
Education
The Sister Mireille Foundation is a leader in the sector and ensures that local needs and priorities come first. Our Education program offers a much-desired platform for children in need. We value the importance of knowledge, and we know that with knowledge, there is power. Become a part of a brighter future and join our efforts today.
Community Outreach
The Sister Mireille Foundation is dedicated to prioritizing our Community Outreach efforts. Our program provides much-needed service for those in need. With our program, we've built orphanages in several countries and provided housing, clothing, food, and education to hundreds of orphans. In 2009, we were able to build and furnish a church in Santo Domingo, and in 2011, we opened a school in Fontamara, Haiti, where 150 students could become educated. In addition, their books and uniforms are provided for them. With your support, we can expand our Community Outreach efforts in several countries worldwide.
Volunteering
The Volunteering program is our longest-running initiative, based on the premise that making a real difference is not only possible but vital. Volunteering at the Sister Mireille Foundation is a source of great pride for our foundation. We value the thousands of hours spent on building our organization into what it is today, and we understand that only with the help of our community will we be able to grow in our service to others.
Our Projects
In 2022, we were able to build 3 houses for families in need. In 2023, we hope to open a local church in Nicaragua and a school to provide shelter, education, and food for several underserved communities.
